Working in Europe with EURES: job offers and help with moving

How it works, step by step

  1. 1 · Search for jobs

On the EURES portal choose the country and the job; you can also upload your CV so that employers can see it.

  2. 2 · Talk to a EURES adviser

At your local job centre or online: they will tell you whether the mobility scheme is open and what help you can request.

  3. 3 · Request the contribution before the interview

Help with travel and relocation must be requested before you leave, not afterwards.

Questions

Do I need to speak the language?

It depends on the job: the offer says so. The mobility scheme can pay a contribution towards a language course.

Are there traineeships too?

Yes, the portal also lists traineeships and apprenticeships; the conditions for financial help vary from project to project.
